for an important research study on
Dr. Bethany K. Mickahail, Dr. Kimberly Underwood and Dr.Josie Hauer of the Center for Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Research and the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix, will be conducting a quantitative survey study to gather information to explore the research question-
What importance do higher education administrators (HEA) assign to the factors of planned or existing student learning analytic (SLA) data collection practices as they impact student academic freedoms while assuring the preparation and development of diverse graduates?
The purpose of this study is to examine and record factors of planned or existing student learning analytic data collection practices that HEAs perceive as supportive of student academic freedoms and while assuring the preparation/development of a diverse student body.
The data from this survey will supplement information about higher education administrators’ perceptions of planned or existing student learning analytic data collection practices in their universities and how that data is utilized by the related academic department administrators to support student academic freedoms and while assuring the preparation/development of a diverse student body.
We are seeking higher education administrators representing accredited colleges and universities who (1) have access to FERPA data within their institution and (2) utilize FERPA data to make strategic decisions within the scope of their employment. In the demographic questions within the survey, those who do not meet these qualifications will be excluded from the study.
HOW LONG? Survey will take approximately15-20 minutes.
This online survey is available to you through Survey Gizmo. It will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a period of 90 days. You can access the survey at http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1847552/Perceptions-HEA-copy-1
